Standalone card readers are high-security devices suitable for controlling almost any access point. Their major advantage is that, beyond card identification, they can independently control door locks, eliminating the need for a separate door control panel in the system. Their installation and use are extremely simple.
The EK2 is a compact, standalone outdoor card reader and code lock, ideal for locations where a simpler, lower-security access control solution is sufficient. Programming is done through its programming menu, but users can also be added or deleted using a master card.
The package includes the reader, a master card, screws, wall plugs, adhesive for installation, and a diode for connecting the lock.
