Standalone card readers are high-security devices suitable for controlling almost any access point. Their major advantage is that, beyond card identification, they can independently control door locks, eliminating the need for a separate door control panel in the system. Their installation and use are extremely simple.
K7-EM(V2) is an outdoor card reader and keypad, ideal for locations where a more complex access control system isn't necessary. Programming is done directly via the device's keypad. The vandal-proof metal housing and IP68 rating of the device guarantee the secure outdoor usage. It features a guest user function, allowing for cards or PINs that are valid for a specific number of uses before automatically becoming invalid.
The package includes the reader, two screws with wall plugs for surface mounting, a diode for connecting the lock, and a Torx key for removing the backplate.
