Standalone card readers are high-security devices suitable for controlling almost any access point. Their major advantage is that, beyond card identification, they can independently control door locks, eliminating the need for a separate door control panel in the system. Their installation and use are extremely simple.

YA-83K-bk is a sleek, standalone card reader and code lock housed in high-quality plastic, designed to read 13.56 MHz MIFARE cards and log entry events. Its numerous inputs and outputs ensure compatibility with various peripherals necessary for a standalone access control system. Additionally, it features a tamper switch for added security. The device is compatible with any Wiegand 26 or 34-bit reader, and it can match the design of the manufacturer's own auxiliary reader (YA-92 series). The bit number used for communication is automatically set in real time.

Connection to a PC is made via RS485 communication protocol, and an RS485-USB converter is absolutely necessary. Once connected, the included free software allows for easier and more detailed user management, including card assignment, input and output customization, and access permissions configuration (including anti-passback). Additionally, you can view log entries filtered by date or user and export them to Excel format.
