H2002ID - Built-in standalone card reader PCB - EM

H2002ID is our latest built-in standalone EM reader, ideal for systems where a custom installation is required, such as embedding into turnstiles or intercoms. This device reads 125 kHz EM cards, and instead of storing card numbers in an EEPROM, it stores them directly on the panel. This makes the memory non-clonable, but also covering a security gap since unauthorized access to the panel won’t allow card number extraction via EEPROM removal. The replacement of damaged or completely malfunctioned panels is made easier with the option to transfer user data via wired connections, and with the card collector mode simplifies user management. When the latter is activated, it allows any card swiped during the activation period to unlock the door regardless of the card being authorized or not and be saved automatically in the memory simultaneously.

The built-in design offers a wide range of custom solutions. Like most of our standalone readers, it features a dry contact relay output and provides both LED and buzzer feedback. Additionally, the device includes an exit button input, which might be necessary for unlocking doors from the inside, depending on the lock type. Programming is done using master cards.
