S-BOARD3-WIFI is the newest and most advanced member of the popular S-BOARD family. Unlike the S-BOARD2, it does not control two doors; however, compared to the regular single-door S-BOARD, it includes the door sensor and alarm outputs found in the two-door version. Additionally, unlike both of its siblings, the S-BOARD3-WIFI can manage guest users (1-time and 10-time cards and codes), panic users (cards and codes that trigger an alarm upon access), and even users who can disable or re-enable access for all other users with a single identification.
Moreover, its greatest advantage lies in the revolutionary feature that distinguishes it from the previous members of its product line: it comes with its own mobile application. Through this app, not only is adding users and performing admin unlocks made easier, but it also allows for the creation of time-limited temporary codes, logging, and even remote access, thanks to its WiFi connectivity.
While WiFi connectivity might be occasionally problematic for an access control device installed on the outside of an entrance door in a vandal-proof metal housing, the S-BOARD3-WIFI, like the previous S-BOARD models, benefits from being installed in a protected interior space. This not only enhances the overall security of the system but also allows it to be placed closer to the WiFi source for a more stable connection.
