Standalone card readers are high-security devices suitable for controlling almost any access point. Their major advantage is that, beyond card identification, they can independently control door locks, eliminating the need for a separate door control panel in the system. Their installation and use are extremely simple.

S2-X(EM+MF) is an aesthetically designed standalone card reader suitable for outdoor use, featuring dual chip with both 125 kHz EM and 13.56 MHz MIFARE cards. The device can connect to an auxiliary reader, and it can also function as an auxiliary reader itself. While it primarily handles cards, it can also manage access codes with a keypad-equipped auxiliary reader.

Ease of use is fortified by the master card, allowing quick and easy addition or deletion of user cards. Card enrollment and other settings can also be performed using a remote control. Connecting two devices of the same series enables user data transfer and even the creation of an interlock system.

The reader's memory can store up to 1,000 users, including specific slots for 1 inhibit user, 2 panic users, and 10 guest users.

• Inhibit user: This feature allows the user to block access for all other users, (including panic users!), by simply swiping their card or entering their code. A subsequent identification re-enables access for everyone.
• Panic User: Panic users trigger the alarm output upon successful access. This can be used for emergency evacuation or silent alarms in high-security areas during a robbery, while the individual maintains the appearance of compliance for their safety.
• Guest Users: These are cards or codes that can be used a set number of times (between 1 and 10). Once the predefined limit is reached, the card or code is automatically deleted from the system.
