Wiegand proximity auxiliary readers are suitable devices for complementing high-security access control systems. The Wiegand standard is extremely simple, allows cabling up to 50 meters, and is one of the most widespread interfaces in access control systems.
ER50EM|PCB is a built-in Wiegand auxiliary reader with 26/34-bit communication capable of reading 125 kHz EM cards. It features LED feedback and a buzzer. It is an ideal solution for enhancing turnstiles, intercoms, and other similar systems. The antenna should not be placed near metal, as it can significantly interfere with the signal.
