Wiegand proximity auxiliary readers are suitable devices for complementing high-security access control systems. The Wiegand standard is extremely simple, allows cabling up to 50 meters, and is one of the most widespread interfaces in access control systems.
SR-1MF supports the 26/34-bit Wiegand system and is capable of reading 13.56 MHz MIFARE cards. It features an aesthetic plastic housing, LED feedback, and a buzzer. Security is enhanced by reverse polarity protection, and thanks to its IP68 rating, it is also suitable for outdoor installation.
