Door control panels are central elements of high-security, modern access control systems. They can be extremely useful even in a single-door system, but their versatile capabilities can be utilized even more in multi-door systems.
One of their most basic advantages, compared to traditional standalone readers, is that here the data isn't stored in the readers, but in the controller's own memory, which is located in a protected internal area, making unauthorized access impossible even by taking the readers off the wall, and shorting the right wires; however, network panels also have numerous other advantages and functions as well.
The panels can be connected to a PC or laptop via TCP/IP either directly or through switches on the same network, and they can be configured, managed, and logged with a simple yet comprehensive English-speaking software, which has a wide range of settings.
The devices are available in one-, two-, and four-door versions, and among them there are those that can handle biometric data and those that cannot. Depending on the location of the installation and the needs for functions that arise with it, it is possible to use simple offline panels or server-based online ones, with the latter designed to solve more complex and global problems. Additionally there are also panels with their own, readily available web servers. Multiple panels can be used and coordinated in the same system, even panels with different door-count, however the different network types (offline, online and the ones with bult-in web server) cannot be mixed with each other.
Unlike standalone readers, this product is just a control panel, which alone is not capable of card reading, code input, or any other form of identification. This means that for a minimal system, it's not enough to only have accompanying electric locks for the devices, but the purchase of separate readers is also necessary. The extra price that comes from this should be taken into account while planning a system, but it also means that, unlike the fixed appearance of standalone readers, here there is a much greater flexibility in terms of design for the readers.
CCA3-2-2PRO is a two-door, two-way access control panel with online capabilities that does not handle biometric data. These online devices operate with a paid software that requires a one-time license purchase, with different license options available based on the number of doors you intend to manage. The software installer can be downloaded from our website. This server-based software must be installed on a server machine, and the panel continuously communicates with the server. As a result, any modifications made in the software are automatically and immediately applied to the panel, and log entries are instantly updated without needing to be manually retrieved from the panel.
A significant advantage of the online system is that when multiple panels are part of the system, they continuously communicate with each other, enabling complex solutions such as global anti-passback across multiple panels.
Moreover, as a server-based application, the software is much easier to access remotely compared to offline versions, since you only need to reach the server hosting the software. While the software can be installed on non-server machines, its full capabilities can only be utilized when installed on a server.
However, it is important to note that, in addition to the software being paid, the panels in this system are also more expensive. If the user doesn't have advanced requirements for the system, the software may offer more functionality than needed, which could make navigation through its many features more complex, even though the interface is streamlined. This access control system is recommended for sites with more complex needs.
To download the software installer, click on the "Download" link found in the Downloads section, then copy the link that appears at the top left of the new page into your browser's address bar and visit the page (a Google Drive). To purchase licenses navigate to the software section in the site menu. The processing time for license requests is approximately 1-3 business days.
