Wiegand proximity auxiliary readers are suitable devices for complementing high-security access control systems. The Wiegand standard is extremely simple, allows cabling up to 50 meters, and is one of the most widespread interfaces in access control systems.
YK-08Y-ID(26) supports the 26-bit Wiegand system and is capable of reading 125 kHz EM cards. With thick coiled cards, it can achieve a reading distance of up to 60 centimeter. It features an aesthetic plastic housing, LED feedback, and a buzzer. Safety is enhanced by reverse polarity protection, and its IP65 rating makes it suitable for outdoor installation.
WARNING! It only works properly with 26-bit cards!
