"ZL" mounting bracket for SM-280LEDA electromagnet

The SB-280ZLA is a three-part bracket set for SM-280LEDA electromagnets to be installed on inward-opening doors.

If you want to install the SM-280LEDA magnet using an SB-280LA or SB-280ZLA bracket, please follow these steps:

- Remove the factory "I" bracket and the 2 special M4 screws from the magnet.
- Then, screw in the 2 traditional M4 screws found in the screw set of the aforementioned brackets into the places where the special screws were removed.
- Secure the magnet body to the "L" bracket using the hex head screws located in the magnet body.

In the diagram, you can see the two-part "ZL" mounting bracket set in a bluish-purple color. The "ZL" bracket is an excellent solution for closing inward-opening doors with a flat electromagnet. Among the adjustment options provided by the 'L' bracket, you will certainly find the one most suitable for your installation environment—you can choose to attach the magnet to either the narrow or the wider side. Meanwhile, the "Z" bracket helps with securing the counter plate.
