Description
The DORCAS-DUO is a special electromechanical lock. The set consists of 2 parts: a mechanical latch and an electric strike.
The mechanical latch automatically locks the lower (cylinder) bolt when the door is closed, while the electric strike can be controlled with an electrical signal.
It is ideal for securing doors where traditional handle and key access is important but also where electronic access is desired. The electrical component of the device is mounted inside the frame, eliminating the need for wiring on the opening part. The electric strike opens with a 12V AC/DC pulse and remains unlocked until the first opening. Fixed buttons/handles are required on the door if you wish to open it from the inside with a handle.
