Security lock – Fail-safe – 4 monitoring options + tamper detection – with mechanical open

The DORCAS-DSL-55/72-FSA is an electromechanical security lock featuring four distinct monitoring signals and tamper detection. In emergencies, the lock can be freely opened from a user-defined side thanks to its panic handle function. The mechanism can be installed in both left- and right-handed doors.

The device operates in fail-safe mode: when the door is closed, the bottom latch automatically locks. Once control voltage is cut, the door can be opened from the non-panic side using the handle. It is compatible with Europrofile cylinders, allowing the door to be opened with a key at any time.

This lock is ideal for high-security areas and interlocking (mantrap) systems, where conventional handle operation and comprehensive door status monitoring are required.
