PRED-ENT-SUB - Predor subsystem module - 20 users

Predor is a Hungarian-developed system, and although its foundation is simple door control (and closely related functions), it is capable of much more and can be customized according to specific requirements. The system's software essentially has two versions, Lite and Enterprise, which differ in terms of features, pricing, and expandability.

The Lite version is essentially the offline version of Predor, which requires a license but is free for up to 20 users and does not have functions requiring global communication between multiple panels. This version can only be expanded with modules that have functions usable in offline mode, and if these modules have online functions, those functions are not accessible in Lite. While the number of doors is unlimited, the number of clients is limited to 1. The number of users can be increased by purchasing expansion licenses for 10, 100, and 500 additional users.

In contrast, the Enterprise is the online version of Predor, which requires a server, but which provides access to the full range of the main system's functions, as well as the option to purchase all possible modules for customization purposes. Unlike in Lite, in Enterprise, both the number of doors and clients are unlimited, but even the base license is not free. Similarly to Lite though, the base license can be used for up to 20 users, and expansion licenses for 10, 100, or 500 additional users can be purchased.

Most modules, like the main versions, handle 20 users by default but can also be expanded with 10-, 100-, and 500-user expansion licenses. Each module requires the main software, but it is not always necessary to expand the main software to the same extent as the additional module. This is only important in cases where the user base of the additional module is essentially the same as that of the main software, such as for example is the case for the time attendance module.

PRED-ENT-SUB is Predor's subsystem module, suitable for office buildings (or other sites) where multiple companies rent office space, and due to the shared location, a common database is appropriate, but individual tenants cannot access each other's systems, and even separate module configurations may be required.

The site or office building operator is responsible for the security of the property, manages access to the main entrances and common areas, as well as other security systems, all controlled on the central server.

To build the system, first the operator company needs an Enterprise license, expanded according to its own staffing needs and supplemented with modules tailored to its own requirements. Then each tenant needs to purchase the subsystem module instead of an own Enterprise license (the price of which is the same as the Enterprise license), also expanded according to their own staffing needs and supplemented with modules tailored to their own needs. These separate subsystem modules need to be integrated into the operator's Enterprise system. In this way, the operator company's users can see and manage the entire system, but users of individual subsystems only see their own system and do not have access to each other's or the operator's system.

The decision-makers of the subsystems can decide which modules they want. For example, one company uses time & attendance and its web platform. Another company (such as a gym) wants to use guest management, where visitors are admitted with QR codes. Almost every module are available for them to select, but there are a few exceptions. For example, the disaster response and bag inspection modules need to be installed comprehensively for the entire system (if there is a need for them), directly connected to the operator's Enterprise system. Their user count also need to be calculated from the entire system, so the user count in the operator's system and all subordinate subsystems needs to be added together. Although this may change in the future, currently guests added by the visitor and pass management module are not included in this, their amount do not need to be calculated in, yet the functions of the mentioned modules can also be used for them.

The parking lot management and camera management modules also need to be procured and installed comprehensively for the entire system, but the users of the subsystems cannot access them, and since they do not work with the users of the main system, they don't need to be expanded to match the user count, but instead depending on the number of vehicles admitted and the number of cameras to be managed. All other additional modules can be procured and installed separately as described above.

The basic module is sufficient for up to 20 users, which can be expanded with 10-, 100-, and 500-user expansion licenses. This module only works with the Enterprise version.

To activate it, you need to have at least the basic license of Enterprise (PRED-ENT-AC).
